mood: grateful to my husband for taking the kids to the other room to laugh and play, anticipation for the moon rise
smell: clementine peel sitting in front of me
sight: stack of christmas cards, stack of books- his and hers, dad and kids clapping and dancing to their own ABC's version.
touch: cool arm, keyboard, suvi's blankey, fleecey Buzz Lightyear jammies
Mark, my boss, said the moon is supposed to rise at 6:20 and look especially big, as it is the closest to the earth today. I don't know if there is even a kernel of truth to this, but I am still going to look for the moon.
and i want to add that this is a disturbing image. eew.

Last night(?) was a hunter's moon. It really is closer to the earth and up to 30% brighter than some of the other full moons throughout the year- I took some photos out on some country roads last night! So, so bright and beautiful.
