QUESTION:

What do you want to know?

I would like to type like crazy, I would love to just really dig into something and describe it to my heart's content. I'm feeling a little hungry. For words. The words stuck in my files. Help me set them free!

"I'm in this hive and the queen mother is coming to eat me up." I wrote that in 1994. I thought myself quite the deep thinker in those days, and I am in the mood to indulge. Come, my little flowers, get me rolling.
Oh. Pardon me. Please.

Did you show me that Queen bee one back then? I was thinking the other day about that poem you wrote and showed me and thinking how I'd like to read that again - it was really good. I'm not really sure what I want to know, I want to know it all. What's in that brilliant mind of yours? How about something that describes your perspective of an ordinary day? Sometimes I wish I could just climb in someone else's head to see how they view the world. I get tired of my own way of seeing/feeling things. I'd love to know what your outlook is on a blank day ahead of you. Are you task oriented like me, do you just roll as it comes or do you find ways to make it interesting as you go. It seems that your window is a great point of interest to little Suvi - so cute! I love the three of you gazing out.

Well, I don't know if this inspires you, but I've been thinking about black and white and grey. And how a lot of people see things in b&w and I don't. Seriously, almost nothing. I see most things in grey. And sometimes that torments me, but I can't apologize for how things appear to me. Maybe something I should blog about, but it's confusing enough here...not sure I could make sense of it in a blog entry.

Also, I wonder why we all have different metabolisms.

I wonder if people are born happy or if it's something you're trained to be. Or if circumstances shape your happiness. Or if it's a choice.

Leanne has a good point.

Happiness.

Blog about your thoughts on happiness. {For what it's worth, I've always thought you're a deep thinker.} I'd love to know your thoughts.

I just read an article today that said that happiness is a learned thing. I'm naturally an optimist and just assumed that people are either happy or not (regardless of what life throws their way--because we all have trials). You can choose to be happy, or you can choose not to be. It really is about choice, isn't it...? What do you think?

I like the black and white and grey one. I think I see things much like Leanne ..

I would also like to know why there are no American myths or legends. Like King Arthur or Persephone or Atlas .. I know, I could argue that "hard work leads to success" is a great example of an American myth - but that's not nearly as interesting a myth as the others. :)

Did you always want to have children? I am always curious about this .. I have no interest at all, zero, zilch, and sometimes wonder if there is anyone who had no interest and then changed their mind (and what did it).

are you more left-brained or right-brained - and why do you think that is

did you watch Hairspray? and did it make you dance in your chair while you were watching?

why are some people deep thinkers and others are not? do you consider deep thinking to be an advantage in your life or a disadvantage?

Ooh, I am stealing blog entry ideas from here. OK?

Jenny-
I like the background you chose, but with the white lettering, it makes it difficult to read... Just thought I'd let you know. :)

I'm wondering what precious things do you wish for your children? And do you think you're a different parent than you thought you might be?

Love,Angie

I used to love reading your poetry. You should share that style of writing with us! :) I remember you using wonderful words in a long narrow format.
