tootsies

just got home from a pedicure. finished off the gift certificate my man gave me for Christmas. while waiting for the nail tech to take me back to the chair, and watching the rain, i realized i'd rather have been home with my man, especially since the kids were napping when i left. my toes, and feet in general, are very happy i kept the appointment. :)

Leanne and I got pedicures yesterday- not true spa ones, but my toes are still happy- they are a bright fushia (sp?) from the Australian collection- can't think of the name off the top of my head...

Happy toes make a happy girl!

Yum. My new love = OPI's Miami Beet. So pretty. It reminds me of Libby's gebera daisy. Glad you enjoyed yourself!

What a treat!

I'm with Ann, I've heard way too many things but I need to get over it because it sounds like pedis are really nice. I've often thought about getting one.

I've heard you can bring your own tools. Maybe that would make me feel better...(?) I also worry a little about the whole 'someone being all up in my personal space' thing...

you can have a pedicure without having them trim, file, or nip cuticles if you don't have your own tools, and wanted not to have their tool on your toes. you can go to a school, well known spa/salon, or a recommended nail shop. most tech's take pride in their work, which includes sanitation. i do trim my nails before i go, tho, cuz that is just too gross for me.
my feet felt loverly today all snug in my sneakers, hydrated and polished appropriately. :)
and laura, you must have found out your news shortly after you commented. congrats!
