LOVE has come for you.

lest you forget...

My baby turns one this month, shopping is my middle name, and I have a lot to learn.

Our Judah had a helmet.
After four months, we've decided to stop helmeting him.  His head shape has improved dramatically; while our orthotist has been very encouraging and recommended we continue, we've missed his sweet face.  Here he is, trying to go undercover in his camo sweats.

I miss wearing setsi shoes that my current double wides do not allow.  If I were invited to the Royal Wedlin', since I am living in Pretend Town at the moment, I would have worn these shoes with my tailored suit dess...
...and this subtle and beautiful fascinator.  I would have been in The World News, I'm sure.
you can find this fascinator here on etsy.

Or maybe this dress would've been my pick:

 or maybe this one?

and H likes this one...

and for my niece's wedding in september, I'd like this little number:

I never new that Nordstrom carried so many plus size dresses.  I just always felt that I could only shop at one store: Lane Bryant.  I recently purchased and returned this dress.  It is just a little too summery for K's wedding, and it was actually too big on top (i'm 2-4 sizes smaller on top than on bottom).

I should really search separates.  I love to shop.  I have so much fun even grocery shopping.  Especially if there are coupons involved...

It's been an enjoyable little shopping trip with you!  It is just great fun for me that Judah gets to be shown off, we can dress shop, and I can tell you what I learned in the last 24 hours: sometimes I make great assumptions.  And you know what they say about ASSuming...
so, lest we forget, tell those people in your heart that they are in thereTell them, don't just show them, that you do, indeed, love them, and that they have that place fore'er.  Because no matter how much you brag about him on your blog, and no matter how many people hear you gushing over him, sometimes he, or she, simply needs to be encouraged with the simple words, "I love you, and I am better because of you.  Thank you for being here in my heart, and for sacrificing and for doting and for living with me here. I feel loved."

Sweet face - glad he's back! I'd have to go with dresses 3 and 4, if only for the color - they're all pretty great:) And the shoes! Oh, the headpiece, I don't know how you shop online, (really, I don't know) but clearly you have a knack. And that's only one of the things I love about you:) -jr

Sweet face!

I love you. I hope you know that. Now I will go remind the currently whining furball on my bed that I love him too, even when he has to wait for his walk.

My current shopping thing is to pull out photos from catalogs and magazines and put them in a folder. I am trying to figure out my ideal style. It's such fun, almost better than shopping because I do not really like shopping in real life unless it's online.

i love magazine and catalog and online shopping for the things that it isn't...not too hot, or static-y, not too crowded, not limited to hours of operation, my kids can be noisy and i don't have to worry if they are bothering other shoppers, or they can be napping and i haven't left them home alone (hahaha. i would never leave them home alone, but the thought just came to me how handy the at-home shopping is), i don't have to worry about losing my sunglasses, phone or keys. the only bummer is not being able to try things on. but art doesn't need a fitting room :)

It occured to me while watching the ever important royal wedding that we really should wear hats to weddings here in the beautiful United States of America. I quite like them, thank you very much. And thanks for showing us what you would have worn. You would have looked like a hot tamale!

If only your man knew how much you gushed. And his monumental role in starting the HHC. Seriously.

mindi, you ain't kidding. i might just start with the hats. maybe even for services tonight? i wonder if i can get same day delivery...

i guess since z and c and h are founding huzbies for the hhc, they all should know the truth of the matter: dey da bomb.

Judah is just so stinkin' cute!!!!

I like that you have fun "window" shopping for outfits. I tend to to the same thing with properties... all over the place. Found some place REALLY cool near Kalispell, MT... Not so much fun looking for jobs that will get see someone's resume, though... ;)
