it's time
please.
it is time to surrender the guilt.
it is time to surrender the fear.
it is time to surrender control.
it is time to relinquish despair and give way to peace.
Surrender the judgement.
Surrender the sadness.
Surrender the parameters.
If the Holy Spirit dwells in my heart, if each beat of my pulse is intended, if every sigh is a prayer, it is time to surrender to my faith, time to surrender to God, time to surrender to His will.
If I believe that every stitch of my being and every atom in my reach is a gift from my Lord and Saviour, then I shall surrender my doubts from every corner, and accept the peace of God.
Is worry an action to glorify God?
Is anger a song of praise?
Is despair trust in hope?
I am surrendering to peace.
It is time.
"Though, like the wanderer, The sun gone down, Darkness be over me, My rest a stone. Yet in my dreams I'd be Nearer, my God, to Thee. Nearer, my God, to Thee, Nearer to Thee!"
