I am thankful to have been able to share in Kristin and Mark's big day.
I am thankful for my friend Larissa, tho I don't know if she reads my blog, because she so encouraged me to join the Moms who do the pre-school for 4 year olds. He is very comfortable going to the different homes for pre-school, and has started drawing at home. These are big steps for mother and son...branching out a bit!
I am thankful for healthy babies and safe deliveries, but especially that of this beautiful little princess dolly girl. I am a gr'aunty again! Katie Lynn (bride's sister) & Jon, welcomed this little joy into the world on Thursday. I can't wait to see her on Thanksgiving Day!!!!!
I am thankful for relatives who welcome the VIP to stay a couple nights at their place. It gives her a little change of scenery, more chances to chat, and it gives us a little break. Breaks are good.
I am thankful for the time we've been able to spend with the VIP. We have 2 more weeks, rounding out a full three months. You know that feeling I've had for a while, like someone was missing? I'd be with my three kids, and look around sort of wondering why I felt like there was a little space in my heart wanting to be filled. I don't feel lacking just now. I've certainly been frustrated and tired and a little irrational a fair piece when it comes to the VIP, but mostly it's been good to be able to care so deeply for someone so quickly again. We will be lonesome for a stretch when she returns to her home on the other side of the world.
Those are the five things I am thankful for off the top of my pretty little head this afternoon.
Peace and Love to you, my friendies!!
